TO THE VOTERS

Dear Friends,

On October 10, 2007, I left Haiti for security reasons and I immigrated to the U. S. During the first three months, I lived in Palm Beach with my wife Joanna Gleason, who was born in Massachusetts.

It didn’t take me long to realize that my future was not on this island. Experiencing the beauty of the South Florida lifestyle (Palm Beach oceanfront) was fantastic. However, I made the decision to move to Massachusetts.  For the past seventeen years, I lived with my family in Brookline, a place where I feel secure and accepted. My children went to Baker School and  Brookline High.

As a former judge (Haiti), and a former director of the higher school in Haiti (School of Magistrates), I had no choice but to restart my academic career there. First, I went to Brookline Adult Education where I learned English as a foreign language. With my strong motivation of learning, I went to Suffolk University. I got a Dual Master in Political Science & Public Administration. I am completing a doctorate in Leadership and Communication at Providence International Christian University, in Orlando.

As a gifted and prolific writer, I wrote many books that have been translated in twelve different languages. My books are in the catalog of Boston, Newton, and Brookline libraries, and they are also in the catalog of Harvard and Princeton University libraries.

My desire to serve has motivated me to take part in political activities in Brookline. I have been elected Brookline Town Meeting Member 3 times. In 2010, I became a member of the Brookline Republican Committee.  Continuing my interest in politics, I made the decision to run for State Representative, (12th Middlesex District), Newton-Brookline.

As a registered republican, many believe that I have no chance to win the election on November 5, 2024. This is not my opinion.  I am sure my party affiliation, as the color of my skin, should not be the criteria on which people would consider voting for me. I believe, it doesn’t matter where you come from, it does matter what you bring to your community.

As a candidate, I stand for:

  • Supporting legal immigration (no sanctuary cities);
  • Promoting fiscal responsibility and balanced budgeting;
  • Protecting the environment;
  • Education Equity;
  • Promoting economic justice;
  • Encouraging and empowering small businesses;
  • Advocating for diversity in the Commonwealth;
  • Fighting antisemitism and hate crime.

Dears Newton-Brookline Voters,

I am in this election because I want to serve. I am running the race because I am truly concerned by the large amount of dollars in state aid of non-citizens and illegal immigrants in Massachusetts. As a State Representative, I plan to deal with the democrats on Beacon Hill to divert that money and guarantee that it will go instead to help our own citizens by helping the homeless, drug addicts, and other citizens in need. To realize my plan, I ask every voter in the 12th Middlesex District to vote for me.

TO THE JEWS COMMUNITY

As a candidate for State Representative (12th Middlesex) Newton- Brookline, I condemn Antisemitism and stand for Israel. There is no place for hate of any kind in the community. I have always said that hatred is indivisible. It will always threaten the community's safety and security. As a candidate, I embrace and support the enduring spirit of the Jewish people in Massachusetts, particularly in Newton and Brookline. I agree with what God says in His Word about the Jewish people: that He chose them as a people for Himself, He dearly loves them, is faithful to His everlasting convenants made with them.
